Aspire Courses:
During the courses, students will cultivate critical reading and writing skills. This environment will nurture the creative drive within these highly gifted students so that they can cultivate the ability to think critically about how an author constructs his or her message.
NEWS:
Students will take the PSAT on October 16th. While we will do review activities in class and go over important test taking strategies, I do hope that you will encourage your child to practice areas that need improvement using resources like Khan Academy. Also, please make sure that your child has a good night's sleep the evening before the test and has healthy breakfast that day.

About Me:
I have worked in education for twenty years and taught at a variety of levels including AP language and AP literature. Using my knowledge and experience to prepare students for the challenges they will have in AP English classes and college courses, I endeavor to assist students in making meaningful connections to the literature they read and to help them develop analytical voice.
